The Public Brain contains information the business is happy for customers, search engines and AI systems to access: services, public policies, explanations, Q&A, locations, images and other approved facts. A Private Brain is for internal knowledge such as procedures, staff guidance, operational detail or sensitive material that should not be published. They can share an architecture without sharing permissions. A public Digital Twin can operate with only the public layer; a private layer is optional and separately controlled.
