No. SEO is not dead, and a healthy website still needs strong technical foundations, useful content, authority and normal search visibility. What has changed is that customers increasingly ask AI systems for an answer before, instead of or alongside clicking through a traditional search-results page.
Search visibility used to be discussed mainly as ranking. AI visibility increasingly means being included in the answer when the business is relevant. AEO, GEO and similar terms describe parts of that shift, but the underlying requirement is clearer business knowledge.
The practical approach is not SEO or Digital Twin. It is both: keep the human website strong while building an AI-readable knowledge layer beside it.
